This Upbeat Rock Jam Track in G minor is a little Country and great fun.

It's a great track to practise your pentatonic licks on as they fit so well with this style of music.
Here are the 2 main positions for that scale you should focus on if not really confident in this key and scale:
1 - Root, based off the 6th string. Position One

The Red dots are the root, so in this case the G note. The others to focus on are the b3 and the p5. This is because these are the main chord tones, and so good strong notes. Excellent notes to finish a run on. The p4th is the weakest note here, so use it, but try not to hang on it too long unless you plan to resolve to a stronger note from it.
Try to come up with a nice, short melody you can repeat to create a motif that you can return to, then improvise from before returning again. Try singing before playing to help get idea.
Now move up the fretboard and see if you can repeat it. Here's the next most important position, based on the root on the 5th string:

Once you are happy with this one, here's one more that links to this pattern. A great thing to try is to start lower on this new pattern, and work your way back to the higher or lower pattern to repeat your motif.
This helps provide interest and also resolution.
